Successful sale of Asia Pacific Schools by KV Asia

KV Asia has successfully completed the sale of Asia Pacific Schools (APS) to the International Schools Partnership (ISP), which is an international K-12 operator backed by the Partners Group.

In Dec 2017, KV Asia acquired APIIT Group, a tertiary education business in Malaysia, which also included APS, the smaller K-12 arm. APS comprises two schools, Asia Pacific Smart School (APSS) which runs the Malaysian national curriculum, and Asia Pacific International School (APIS) which runs the international curriculum. Together, APSS and APIS educate over 2,000 children aged between 3-18 years in Kuala Lumpur.

APS is well-respected within the community. The Schools stand out not only for the strong academics, but also for the importance placed on continuously developing learners in a demanding global society. We feel the Schools are both a strong fit for the International Schools Partnership’s vision and philosophy of focusing on quality and excellence, all within a culture where learning takes centre-stage. We are confident that this move will benefit both the Schools’ students and staff.
